HIM INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL ANNUAL DAY CELEBRATION 2019-20
The 3rd Annual Day of the HIM International School was memorably celebrated on Saturday, December 21, 2019 on a specially set up stage in the School Ground with a Dazzling show of rhythmic enactment of the Pied Piper in a perfect blend of the Navarasas – the nine-fold emotional expressions. The combination of the classic story of the Pied Piper of Hamelin and the Navarasas was the distinguishing character of the 3rd Annual Day. It gave an unforgettable visual impact through a complicated synchronization of the story of Pied Piper and Navarasas represented through artistic enactment of the harmoniously synchronized musical and theatrical representation of the Classic Pied Piper of Hamelin and the age-old classical exemplification of the NAVARASAS – the nine expression of emotions which presented how the idea of love of nation is translated into the idea of love of the people of the nation bringing all to a cathartic effect of happy ending. The Pied Piper was enacted with the participation of 230 students. The Chief Guest Prof Amitava Mitra, the Pro-Vice-Chancellor of Rajeev Gandhi University inaugurated the function with the lighting of the lamp in the presence of the Chief Patron Mr Katung Wahge, along with other invited guest, Principal Dr Maneesh Mangal, Vice Principal Mr Viju Kallara Jose, Coordinator Ms Pooja Singh, Teachers, parents and the student community. “HIM International School is the torchbearer to enhance quality in the educational arena of the State not just because of its imposing structure but also because of its excellence in imparting knowledge,” said Prof. Amitava Mitra while addressing the audience. The Principal Dr Maneesh Mangal welcomed all the distinguished guest and presented the Annual Report of the School. He highlighted the achievements of the school – academic, art and sports; and stressed the holistic development of the pupil. It was also a moment of pride and honour for the prize winners of the Talent Scan Competitions and Academic and Co-curricular activities as they were given away by the Chief Guest and the Principal.
