HIM INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL has constructed a very organized virtual platform for our students to learn through distance mode. Adopting a blended approach towards distance learning practices, it caters for both online and offline learning opportunities for our students. The online classes were new for most of our students. However, all of us are very excited about the way it is going on right now. The present exposure of online and distance mode of learning would be phenomenally useful for the young generation for their later years to come as the world is moving rapidly towards online and distance learning; the skills they are acquiring now will be assets for their future learnings.
Two things make our distance learning unique: Firstly, the live classes. The live classes are brimming with lively teacher-pupil interaction where they get ample opportunities to discuss, discourse, interact, and exchange ideas collaboratively with their passionate teachers and peers. Secondly, the distance learning approach provides for shifting the focus to self-directed and self-determined learning styles where the students are getting trained to be responsible for their learning. Although stationed far apart, the teacher-pupil and teacher-parent relations are becoming far more intensive and closer and the partnership of these three critical agents of education is becoming fundamental for enhancing progress towards the defined educational goals. Successful people convert negative and potentially dangerous situations into positive platforms where they engage their talents to adapt, improvise, and overcome. WE ARE AT IT.
